It’s now been over 3 months since I left Veeam and I’ve decided NOT to go back and do another Big national gig. I’ve been at this technology thing for 38 years now (really can’t believe it) and I never want to do another forecast call…ever
But I’m too young to stop completely and I love sharing what I’ve learned with others on the same journey.
I’ve just updated my LinkedIn profile, so it becomes way less interesting to the recruiters…. I’m burning the bridge behind me and won’t be taking any more recruiter calls moving forward.
I’ve been thinking hard about what to do next and have decided to build a Solo Sales Consultancy of my own called Sales Grinders Only .com to share what I’ve learned in the trenches of technology sales.
I’m in the process of developing a ton of actionable content and am exploring building out three high impact web-based courses:
- Enterprise Selling and The Big Rock Review process to help sales teams Win more of their Big Deals.
- An Automated Time and Task management system to help sales professionals stay on top of all the things they need to get done.
- And a course to help New Sales Leaders learn their new craft way faster then I did.
I’ve had a fantastic run over the course of my career and can’t thank everyone I’ve had the pleasure to work with or serve enough….. team members, partners, customers and my family, who’ve been on this wild ride with me for a very long time.
Technology… always changing, always evolving. It’s the life we choose
